The Ferrari F70 is Rumored to Cost More Than $1.6 Million
The new Ferrari Enzo - currently known internally as the F150 and to some as the F70 - will make its world debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. While the auto show is still a few weeks away, rumors suggest that in Italy the model will be priced at about €1.21 million (about $1.6 million at the current exchange rates). By comparison, back in 2002 Enzo was priced at €665,000 (about $890,000 at the current exchange rates). The model will be limited to only 499 units.
Final specifications on the new Enzo are still to be released, but the Italian maker did promised it will deliver much more than the current F12berlinetta, which delivers a total of 740 horsepower. Still, when compared to the current supercar, the next Enzo will combine a V-12 normally aspirated direct-injection gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total output of more than 900 horsepower.
The model will use lots of carbon fiber in its construction in an attempt to keep the car’s total weight as low as possible.

The Porsche 911 started its run back in 1963 - and oh what a run it is -, but it wasn’t until 1999 that aGT3 version was offered up for our ravenous consumption. It came to complete the series of performance vehicles that started back in 1973 with the 911 RS, a model that was capable of sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds and to 100 mph in 13 seconds.
Why the short history lesson? Well, the new generation GT3 is ready to break cover in the next couple of years and rumors about the sports car are already beginning to sprout. These rumors suggest that the new GT3 will be host to a 4.0L engine and not the 3.8L naturally-aspirated six cylinder engine where it gets its name. We are assuming that if the GT3 ends up with this engine change, we’ll also be looking at a new name for the vehicle, but that’s all speculation at this point.
What we do know is that the next GT3 will be lighter than the current generation, but according to Porsche CEO Matthias Muller, it will not be using Porsche’s new 7-speed PDK transmission.

2014 McLaren P1
In today’s world of ungodly-powered supercars, an old hat that has been lost in the shuffle is looking to re-enter the conversation, determined to remind everyone that while their name hasn’t been mentioned in talks of ’fastest supercar on the planet,’ it was a matter of choice rather than cause.
McLaren once held the title of "world’s fastest production road car" in 1998 when the F1 supercar hit an impressive top speed of 240 mph. However, with the new P1, unveiled today at the Paris Auto Show, the company is not aiming for the same thing. according to McLaren, with the P1 "the aim is not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit."
While McLaren offered no details on the engine to be used in the P1, they did confirmed it will deliver a power to weight ratio of more than 600 HP/tone making us believe that the supercar will be either very light or very powerful. Or Both?
We will have our answer pretty soon, as a production version will arrive withing the next 12 months.
UPDATE 02/20/2013: McLaren has unveiled today full details on the hybrid system set to be used in the upcoming P1 supercar. Hit the jump to learn more about it.

Infiniti Performance Line (also known as IPL) was a line specially developed to offer customers higher performance version of the standard Infiniti models. Still, with 348 horsepower under the hood you can not really say we are talking about a high-performance model.
However, according to recent reports, things are about to change as the next IPL models, starting with the Q50 IPL will be developed in cooperation with Red Bull Racing team. Official from both Infiniti and Red Bull companies have confirmed that this means "genuine engineering collaboration" and not just some simple logo stickers.
We are not very sure if this means the next Q50 IPL will be indeed a serious competitor for models like BMW M3, but still it will be an extremely capable sports sedan.
In order to make an idea on how the next IPL models developed in cooperation with Red Bull team you should take a look at the FX Sebastian Vettel SUV.
Rumormill: Rolls-Royce V16 Roadster is in the Works
The future sounds very promising for Rolls-Royce, as rumor has it that there will be at least two more stunning models added to its lineup in the near future. First will be a 16-cylinder roadster and the second model a new SUV developed to target the upcoming Bentley SUV.
Rolls-Royce will be the second maker, after Bugatti, that will place a 16-cylinder engine is a supercar, but do not expect the new Rolls-Royce roadster to deliver the same performance numbers as the Veyron. It will deliver about 700 horsepower, but when it comes to performance figures, Rolls-Royce will be more interested in refinement, luxury and craftsmanship, and not in obtaining monstrous top speeds.
First details suggest the upcoming roadster will be offered with a "long nose, stubby tail and a raked windscreen." It will offer interior space for just two passengers and will feature a soft-top roof. Most likely, the model will be built on the same aluminum spaceframe chassis as the next Phantom.
Expect the new Rolls-Royce Roadster to arrive in 2017

Next Cadillac CTS-V May Get a Boosted LT1 Engine; ATS-V to Get Boost too
Now that we know the next-generation CTS will make its world debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show next month, we can also expect a new-generation CTS-V. First details on the model suggest it will be powered by a new forced-induction version of the new LT1 V-8 engine we have seen in the Corvette Stingray. Rumors suggest that Caddy is developing both a twin-turbo and a supercharged variant of this engine and one of them will be used in the CTS-V.
The ATS-V on the other hand will get a twin-turbo V-6 engine, while a V-8 version could still be offered in some kind of "ATS-V Plus" version.
Now, it’s time for a bad news: it looks like the idea of a new flagship sedan built on the Omega-platform has been dropped. It is also very possible that we will not to see a coupe and station wagon variant for the next generation CTS.
Also, it is very possible to see a new Cadillac naming strategy in the near future, because it looks like clients aren’t very happy with the current names offered by the company.
Blurry Leaked Image Shows us the 2015 Ford Edge
It looks like Ford is preparing to surprise us with a new generation Edge crossover and if the first leaked image turns out to be true, it will be quite a huge surprise. A super-blurry image outlining future Ford models has hit the Interwebz and, as you can see, the 2015 Edge will feature an impressive evolution over the current generation with design inspired by the new generation Fusion.
The front seems to have been heavily revised with a a more prominent grille, sweptback headlights, plus more pronounced and aggressive lines. All of which are welcome additions to the aging Edge.
Its just our crazy impression, or 2015 will really be a busy year for Ford: there will be a new Mustang, new Edge and possibly new Taurus and Expedition.
We’ll keep a close eye out more a better-resolution image and we are sure one will popup soon enough. Until then, break out your microscopes and check out the above image comparing the 2013 model to the leaked image of the 2015 model.

2014 Chevrolet SS Performance

Rumors have been swirling since 2011 regarding the Chevrolet SS and we were amongst the first to start discussing it. The rumors cooled off up until a few weeks ago when after 40 years of using the “SS” logo,GM finally decided to trademark it. Later the rumors became even more certain, as OnStar, GM’s in-vehicle communication system, mistakenly put the 2014 model lineup on its site. Within that lineup was a model dubbed the SS Performance.

With this release, Chevy would finally have a performance sedan to stack up against the likes of theCharger R/T and the Ford Taurus SHO.

2014 Aston Martin Vanquish
Here we go, folks. The 2012 model year was the last for the current Aston Martin DBS, but Aston Martin fans will be kept busy with the 2013 DBS Ultimate, which is little more than a slightly upgraded version of the Carbon Black model, but a limited edition nonetheless. Once the novelty of that model wears out, the newly redesigned Vanquish will be here and ready to soak up the spotlight. In the past few months, we have seen plenty of spy shots of the new supercar, but Aston Martin has finally decided it was time to offer full details on the new Vanquish. As you probably know, the new DBS successor not only received a completely new design, but it also revived a legendary name: Vanquish.
The reasoning behind the name choice was explained by Aston Martin Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ulrich Bez, himself: "Today’s Vanquish is the ultimate expression of Aston Martin design ethos, engineering innovation and technical ability. It offers luxurious, continent-crossing capability and pure driving excitement without compromise. Bearing the same name as the iconic original Vanquish that did so much to cement Aston Martin’s reputation as a maker of great GT cars in the modern era, I believe the car unveiled today once again puts this great British brand at the top of its class."
Did the British brand overshoot, or did it just find a way to catapult sales?
UPDATE 02/15/2013: Aston Martin has unveiled yet another cool video for its latest Vanquish supercar, this time presenting the engineering behind this incredible super GT. Enjoy!
